About Pitchfork Ranch
Pitchfork Ranch was founded in 1995 with a love and dedication to producing the best all around horse that will ride and be easy to look at. We breed for disposition, conformation, cow sense and all around athleticism.
In 1995 our breeding program started with Skips Ol Yeller. Our goal has been in line with Hank Wiescamp’s philosophy that “close to the trunk will be the best, for you and me and all the rest”. So to keep up with the changes in the horse industry we changed bloodlines and we started producing foals from a buckskin stallion "Makin Money Flo" who is an own son of Mr Peponita Flo (Lte $148,875) and out of a money earner daughter of Docs Quixote who has sired money earners of over 10 million.
Pitchfork Ranch now stands a great stallion here at the ranch "Mr Worldwyde" a 2019 son of Metallic Rebel who is an NCHA earner of $438,415 out of Lizzys Lil Playgirl who is an NCHA earner of $52,880.
We are crossing Mr Worldwyde and other stallions on own daughters of Playgun, Dual Smart Rey, High Brow Cat, Bet Hesa Cat, Once in A Blu Boon, Smooth As A Cat, One Time Pepto, Sweet Lil Pepto, Smart Lil Scoot,Hes A Peptospoonful, Athena Puddy Cat & Pepto Rio Playboy.
